Information Sent to Us
Search-form entries, including a name, phone number, or address, are sent to the third-party provider that delivers the result experience; this site does not retain a copy of those search entries. A message sent to us contains the information included in that message and is used to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting services create routine logs such as an IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time of access. We use aggregated operational information to maintain the service and understand usage. Cookies or similar tools may support ordinary analytics and, when present, advertising measurement.
How Limited Data Is Used
We use the limited information described here to operate the service, diagnose faults, measure traffic, answer messages, and improve the reference material. We do not sell lists of visitors or create profiles of individual users.
External Destinations
Links may lead to Marshfield, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, library, archive, or third-party search services. Their own privacy terms control information submitted after leaving this site. That includes sponsored search results supplied by another company.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Providers that host or support the site may process the ordinary log information described above. Analytics or advertising providers may receive automatic data where used. We disclose information only when required by valid legal process or otherwise permitted by law.
Safeguards and Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Operational logs are retained only for the period reasonably needed for the purposes described here. No visitor account, password, or personal profile is maintained by this site.
Visitors Under 18
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18. If you believe a minor sent personal information to us, contact us so it can be removed.
Your Privacy Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data a website holds. Massachusetts research reviewed for this site did not identify a comprehensive consumer privacy statute that replaces this qualified general statement. Because this service keeps very little, a request usually involves checking contact correspondence and logs, then removing what is found where appropriate. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Massachusetts offices are controlled by their custodian under M.G.L. c. 66, § 10 and the exemptions in M.G.L. c. 4, § 7, cl. 26; requests about those records belong with the office that holds them.
Changes to This Policy
Any revision will appear on this page. Continued use after a posted revision means the updated policy applies.
